Not only do we love cats, dogs and animals of all sorts – we also love independent artists and small businesses! We’ve stumbled across some awesome animal lovers that have taken their creative skills and passion for pets and have combined the two in order to make awesome, one-of-a-kind pet merchandise. WOOF – we approve!

1. Papaya Pascal
Papaya Pascal creates one-of-a-kind dog collars constructed from eco-friendly materials such as 100% recycled leather, organic cotton or hemp webbing. Even better – 10% of all proceeds go to spaying and neutering homeless animals. Score!

2. Dudley & Bea
Dudley and Bea carries handmade leashes, coats, collars, toys, treats and more! Their products are “awww” inducing – and they use re-purposed, recycled and sustainable materials whenever possible.

3Lofted Designs
Why yes – Fido DOES need a handmade tag that says “I <3 Car Rides” or “Bed Hog”! Lofted Designs carries dozens of drool-inducing handmade dog tags. If you’d prefer a different message, they also accept custom orders. Lofted Designs’ owner Lori also has a heart – she donates a portion of profits to local non-profit organizations quarterly!

4. HeatherBays
Although she doesn’t solely carry pet accessories, HeatherBays’ needle felted catnip filled “Severed Heads” are too great not to share. These funny catnip-filled rat, teddy bear, rabbit, and bird heads will surely make your house cat feel like a predator again!

5. WraptCats
Cats love snuggling in sweaters. Why not buy them their very own wool “sweater” to snuggle in? WraptCats features beautiful, handmade felted cat beds constructed from 100% Peruvian Highland wool. Best of all? These pet beds are beautiful enough to be displayed proudly in your home!

6. Gypsy Eyes Clothing
Why yes – your dog does need a giraffe costume – and a sundress, a cheetah hoodie, and a Harry Potter costume! Everything in GypsyEyesClothing’s shop is handmade by 22 year-old college student (and animal lover!) Brandy Radke. Let’s face it: the girl’s got skills!

7. Bocce’s Bakery
Although not quite a “pet accessory”, we simply couldn’t resist mentioning Bocce’s Bakery! The founder behind Bocce’s Bakery, Andrea, began creating
homemade food and treats for her pup Bocce after finding out he was a few pounds overweight. All treats sold at Bocce’s Bakery are baked by hand and made with love. You can find Bocce’s Bakery treats on PetFlow!
