On Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending the Chicago Pet Show at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, IL. The Chicago Pet Show is a two-day pet show that happens a few times a year throughout the Chicagoland area. The show was created to allow pet shelters throughout the region to showcase their mission – and of course, the pets they have up for adoption.  I met so many wonderful people – here are photos of just a few of the awesome nonprofits and adorable pets that I met!

The Mini Zoo Crew was stationed outside of the event and had an amazing petting zoo!

I made friends with this little black goat – and yes, I did want to take him home with me!

How adorable are these mini ponies?!

Freddie is very sick & HARTOFIL.com is raising funds for his medical care.

This little darling is Alexa from Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue – she has recently been diagnosed with cancer.

I *almost* filled out papers to adopt this little doll from www.FriendsofStraysShelter.org!

More beautiful kitties from Friends of Strays Inc. – based out of Princeton, IL

How cute is Junior from IL English Bulldog Rescue?

It was fun watching Drs Nottoli and O’Connor of myvitalitychiropractic.com work their magic! This pup was totally at ease!

Little Deliliah from the Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue was an absolute doll!

Casey manned the kissing booth for MidwestBTRescue.org! Who could resist a smooch from him?!

Dottie was the fine young lass behind West Burb Weiners’ kissing booth!

Lucy cheered Dottie on from the sidelines at West Burb Weiners' booth

Take me home! I pawmise I won’t make any accidents…

Who could resist these fuzzy little faces?!

I’m sure this adorable pup will get adopted in a heartbeat – look at those eyes!

“WOOF! Just perusing the booths. Dog Walking? Why, that’s right up my block – erm, alley!”

Special thank you to everyone that allowed me to stop by, chat and take pictures! I had a great time meeting all of you and hearing about your work. For more details on a few of the shelters and businesses I had the chance to meet, visit their websites:
