Cats change as they age – just like us! Mature and geriatric cats have special dietary needs, while kittens require friskier playtimes than their older counterparts.
Everyone says that dogs age seven years for every single human year that they’re alive, but there’s no well-known formula for calculating a cat’s age. However, here at PetFlow.com, we feel it’s super important to know the relative age of your cat so that you can help your pretty kitty grow and change gracefully!
How Old Is My Cat in Human Years?
How Long Will My Cat Live?
There’s no telling how long your cat will live! Feeding cats healthful food from PetFlow.com, and making sure they get regular exercise can help extend their lifetime, but it’s hard to predict exactly how long your pretty kitty will live.
However, we’ve found some inspiring cases of cats who lived for way longer than expected!
The oldest cat alive resides in the United Kingdom and is named Cola. He turned 28 in September. People say that Cola is about 140 years old in human years – WOW!
The oldest cat who ever lived (but has sadly since crossed the Rainbow Bridge) was a cutie named Creme Puff who lived in Texas. Creme Puff was 38 years old and 3 days old when he passed away of old age. No cat has ever lived that long since – but at least we know it’s possible!
