Tips for Recovering Lost Dogs on July 4th

Did you know that there is a 30% to 40% spike in lost dogs every 4th of July? Preventing dogs from getting lost involves educating the public about the dangers of fireworks and other stressful situations for pets around the July 4th holiday. Despite these efforts, we know that many parents will still report their dogs missing during this time, often due to unexpected circumstances. Our role goes beyond finding lost pets; we here at Lost Dogs of Wisconsin act as a first response agency. Our mission is not to judge pet parents for missing the warnings, but to provide sound, logical advice to help pet parents like you, quickly and safely recover your missing dogs.
